For example, I hate blueberries. Not because they're wrong in some way, but because the taste and texture make me gag.
I hate Twilight as much as the next person in here, but not because it's sick in any way, other than the fact that I find it sick to defile the name of vampires by making them sparkle. I hate it because it is a genuinely bad series. The characters are predictable and shallow, as is the plot. I greatly dislike Stephanie Meyer's writing style, but she has done an excellent job of marketing this garbage. On that point, I agree with you.
P.S. Not every twelve-year-old girl all uring womanads this book is going to grow up wanting their lovers to draw blood. Only the select few that are SICK or have something DEEPLY WRONG with them are going to be S&M junkies, and most of them aren't going to be that way because Twilight somehow told them to.
