This poster demonstrates a basic misunderstanding of how petroleum is refined. When you distill crude oil you get kerosene and gasoline. When you refine the gasoline you get the byproducts used to make plastics and synthetic fibers (polyethylene/polystyrene). So water bottles use what might otherwise be a waste product. The people who made this poster are trying to mislead people.
I only buy it so I have the bottle to use over again for a long time.
If tap water wasn't contaminated with a carcinogenic,IQ lowering,bio-accumulative rat poison otherwise known as fluoride, a lot more of us would drink it.
Just because tap water is "clean" doesn't mean it's safe to drink. Sure, the chlorine that's put in it will kill bacteria, and the fluoride is good for our teeth, but it's poisonous once we ingest it. On top of that, there's no way to regulate how much of the poisons the population is receiving since tap water is readily available and we can drink as much as we like. Tap water is dangerous.
You're an idiot.
You're amazing.
Die.
